It promoted saving of heat in winter and protection against heat in the summer. At the same time, such walls gave to the building the elasticity served by protection against destructions at possible earthquakes. For this reason, the mosque has not suffered during the occurred numerous earthquakes.

The bridge on the Khram River in the Gazakh district is known among Caucasian people after the Sinig Korpu (Broken Bridge) name. The length of the bridge is unusual: about 175 meters. The bridge was built in 12th century after destroying of more ancient bridge, the remainder of which was preserved in 95 meters downstream.
